I was just informed that this event has been postponed. The new date is May 13th – same time, same place!
So, I’m busy putting together the final touches (and by “final touches” I mean – gulp!) of my talk on Interior Design Trends that I’m presenting next Saturday, March 4th, at Wicked Local University in Natick.
Wicked Local is a brand of the local media group Gatehouse Media. For readers not from this area – “wicked” is our local slang meaning “cool” or it can be used to enhance a descriptor, such as in the movie “Good Will Hunting” when Ben Affleck’s character describes Matt Damon’s as “wicked smaht” – aka exceptionally smart.
So, Wicked Local produces themed “University” days (it’s from 8:00AM – 12 Noon) where attendees can select courses to take based on their interests. They did a health day last Fall and this upcoming event is all about “Home”.
The Outdoor Room

My talk will include trends I saw at the Kitchen and Bath Industry show last month, reports I’ve read from Maison et Object in Paris and how these “runway” looks translate into home decor. I’ll also be talking how not to become a trend victim. Hint: there’s a lot of color, metallics and natural elements coming our way!
