What is “Virtual Interior Design” and how does it work? The internet has made the world a much smaller place. In a nutshell - you provide Linda and her team with specific information about the room(s) you wish to re-decorate and we’ll send you back a full working digital “Planner”. Plans come in two levels - I and II. Level I is a great choice if you just need a little push or are not sure if this is the right type of service for you. For just $375, you will receive a customized digital inspiration board that will include a rendering or sketch for an overview of the design concept, color palette, recommendations for decorations and furnishings, and other instructions as necessary. Level II (see below for room specific pricing) is a multipage digital PDF document that includes rendering(s) or sketch(es) to show the overall feel of the space, measured floor plans, color palette and paint colors, furnishings, window coverings and accessories.

All products will be available for your purchase at reputable, national retail stores either online or in your local area. If you wish more customized, trade-only solutions, we can accommodate that as well. If there is a specific store you wish to use locally, we’ll do our best to accommodate that as well by working directly with store personnel.

Is this right for me? Virtual design clients can be design lovers whose budget or needs don’t extend to a full range of design services; or those who love the DIY challenge but know the value of professional direction; or those who appreciate Linda’s brand of comfortable luxury but don’t live in the area. This is even a great concept for those planning on selling their home and need home staging help.

How do you do a design plan for a space you’ve never seen? It’s a good question and an important one to ask. We’ve spent many years working with clients remotely to accommodate busy work and travel schedules. Communications is key and we have developed clear processes to help our clients provide us with all that we need to get a feel for a space I may have seen only once or twice, or not at all. While it is preferable that your designer be on site, it’s not always possible and virtual design services, aka e-decorating, is a cost-effective way to get a professional opinion at a very reasonable rate.

What do you need from me? We’ll provide you with detailed instructions for photographing and measuring your room. You will be asked to fill out a detailed questionnaire about your wishes for your space, how it’s used, your design preferences, color preferences, etc. The more information you provide us, the better!

Will you use what I already own? Of course! We believe in the value of family heirloom pieces and reusing what you already own. We may make suggestions for refinishing or reupholstering pieces, but we’ll always respect your wishes.

I’m on a very tight budget, how will this service benefit me? Regardless of the size of the budget, no one likes to waste money. The quickest way to waste money, time or both is to start a decoration or renovation project without a plan. We are here to help you develop your plan and we bring a wealth of knowledge built on years of experience to the table.
