The process of interior design isn’t just shopping for pretty furniture, it’s about creating an environment that embraces your lifestyle, your family and your friends. With passion and creativity, Linda Merrill works with her clients to develop and implement a design that brings it all together.
A. ::Platinum:: You are looking for the entire package – a new design plan for a single room, your entire home or perhaps you’re embarking on a major renovation and want guidance on pulling it together. We can manage all the important tasks involved with every detail considered and produce spectacular results. Includes design planning, sourcing, project oversight and installation. Design fees based on scope of project.
B. ::Gold:: You might be looking for just window treatments, or art, possibly new seating in several rooms or the finishing touches throughout. We will tailor the scope of work to your specific needs. This service is billed on an hourly basis with a ten hour minimum contract ($1,750.00), payable in advance.
C. ::Silver:: You like to shop and get your hands dirty, but could use some professional inspiration and advice along the way. Our Silver level service offering provides professional level coaching but leaves all the work in your hands. You pull together your plans and samples and Linda will come to your home for a morning or afternoon to help you pull it together and make final selections. Visits are scheduled in three hour increments at a fee of $699.00, payable in advance.
How do we begin?
Prior to an Initial Meeting (Platinum & Gold levels only), you will be asked to fill out our Client Questionnaire which is designed to help you articulate your project goals and expectations. The Initial Meeting gives us the opportunity to get to know each other. This is your time to express your hopes and dreams for your home, your project plans, budget and to ask any questions about the process and the possibilities. The Initial Consultation is not intended to be a working design meeting, but rather a time (usually 45-60 minutes) to get to know one another. There is a $75.00 travel fee for any distance over 20 minutes. This fee is payable at the beginning of the Initial Meeting.
We also offer a signature Jump Start meeting where we will actually do some of the basic planning to get your job started off on the right foot. We will more fully explore your ideas and design plans, your needs and wants, create budget parameters and begin the essential “road map” to a successful outcome. This meeting is usually between 2 and 3 hours and costs $699.00, payable in advance. If you decide to move forward with our Platinum level design package, this fee will be credited against the design fee.
Specific offerings include:
- Space planning with complete furniture layouts using 3D renderings to help you “see” the final result.
- Window treatments, soft furnishings & upholstery, hard treatments and casegoods.
- Custom design and/or purchasing of furnishings
- Flooring, carpets & rugs
- Art & accessories
- Custom color consultations
- Bathroom & kitchen style including cabinetry, tile and appliances
- Project management and oversight from start to a beautiful finish.
Open and honest communication about the budget is essential to the success of the project. We will work collaboratively to establish an appropriate project budget to accomplish your goals. Our design fees are based on the scope of the project.
