Room for Improvement – Picking the color palette

As I said in my previous post, my clients enjoy a strong, saturated color palette throughout their home. However, they are looking for their bedroom to be an oasis of calm. And the color palette is the first place to look.

We are thinking about Benjamin Moore’s #14818 Oriental Iris for the main color on the walls. We may do an accent wall in a coordinating or deeper color. Other colors I’m looking at for accents and fabric include teal, a medium yellow/green, and a darker and lighter lavender.

What do you think?

  1. I like the medium yellow/green, but I think it should either be quite a bit darker or lighter, probably darker, actually, since it’s only one wall. Should be fun!
