I’ve been collecting these images of faux bois (false wood) furnishings and accessories for a while. We’re seeing such items all over the place these days and I decided I’d reached critical mass and needed to put them up in a post. Many original faux bois items made of concrete and used for outdoor furnishings. Generally very rustic, items are usually not inexpensive. But fun, none the less. We’re now seeing all sorts of fun “wood grain” items – from pillows and rugs to toilet paper. Here are some of my fun faux bois finds:
Mirror at Koo de Kir in Boston
Planter from BallardDesigns.com
Candles at Wrapables.com
Merritt table in cast metal available from JedJohnson.com
Bench, velvet pillows and table available from Gumps.com
Arm Chair at Mecox
Table at The Elegant Earth & Vessels
Table at Ballard Designs
Mirror at West Elm
Console Table at Crate and Barrel
What do you think? Faux or no?
