One of the big trends I noticed in Maison et Objet accessories was the presence of white. I have to admit that I love the clean, bleached, feeling of this look. Two of my favorite stands were Guadarte from Spain and Woestijnroos BVBA – WR Collection – from Belgium. The bust above – surrounded by soft greens by WR Collection was a real stunner.
I wanted to move right into the Guadarte booth – with its washed whites and grays, with subtle hints of sea glass and verdigris greens. To me, this look was so calming.
The WR Collection stand was notable for its styling and lighting of their Maison et Objet accessories and collections.
Sparking business opportunities and creative interaction between the world’s decoration, design and lifestyle community, Maison&Objet is your never-ending source of inspiration, constantly serving up exciting new finds: in the flesh twice a year at our trade fair in Paris; in the streets of Paris during Paris Design Week with our fringe event, ‘Le Off’; and in the digital world via MOM, Maison&Objet Academy.
So, as I said previously, we saw a lot of oversize Maison et object accessories at the show. Not a terribly new trend, but pretty none the less.
