A rainy, cold and then snowy weekend began with some sofa cuddles with the little Roy (drying off in a warmed towel, because that’s how we roll in this house) and then a trip to an antique show that I thought I’d share.
The show was the 35th annual Duxbury Antiques show and was held this year in the new Duxbury H.S., my h.s., only the new and improved one! The previous shows were held in the gym (which always brought back bad memories…) but the new high school’s long main hall and atrium provide a much nicer location. Natural light is such a blessing!
I’m a sucker for little chairs and there were plenty on hand. Didn’t buy any because, well, I have no space!
So, the vendor told me this below is a “brothel tub”. Makes for a nice planter or drinks container…
A little wooden high chair…
A place for birds…
The chairs kept getting smaller…
Loved this cute coat rack. The dealer said they usually don’t marry elements, but they had the door and found the knobs, and voila.
Put your hands up!
And then this is what we woke up to today and the power going on and off.
Sunny now though but more snow expected tomorrow. And this is no April Fools!

Oh my goodness, just when I thought I was over roosters – I’ll definitely take that large rusty one! Happy Monday Linda
