Last week I attended a costume exhibit at Heritage Museums & Gardens on Cape Cod. Call “Cut!”, this traveling exhibit showcases the design work of several award-winning costume designers and the workmanship of Cosprop, Ltd., London, England, which manufactures costumes. There are 43 costumes on display and each is presented with some small props and backdrops to evoke the movie they were in. I’d also like to give a shoutout to my design colleague Nancy Goldstein of Light Positive who designed the lighting for the exhibit. My photos are as nice as they are because everything was lit so beautifully!
So, on with the show! Below each costume I have a photo of who wore it. Can you guess?
Heritage Museums & Gardens is a wonderful place to visit. My parent’s were big volunteers there in their day. My Dad was chair of the Auto Committee (lots of fancy historic cars) and my Mom was a tour guide.
Love costume dramas! And Keira Knightly is beautiful. It’s too bad there is not more attention to detail in what passes as high fashion nowadays, (Oh well, they have shareholders to answer to). Thanks for sharing, Linda.
