I just completed the plans for some cozy bedding and faux ostrich tufted headboards for some lovely clients of mine which I’m so excited to see come to life in a few weeks (well, maybe more than a “few”!).
One of the reasons we went with full custom for the bedding is that it’s nearly impossible to find an off-the-shelf bedspread (meaning all the way to the floor) for a king size adjustable bed. Nearly all bedding available today are duvets and coverlets, but nothing that fully covers the bed sides. As my client didn’t want a bedskirt, coverage was needed. In the process of researching various bedding options, I did pull together a list of great items that I wanted to share. (Please note, this post includes affiliate links. Charleston-based design and lifestyle entrepreneur Julia Berolzheimer has teamed up with Pottery Barn for a beautiful new collection including this beautiful, fresh and Springy bedding.
Ballard Designs is always a great go-to for cozy bedding.

There is a problem with those adjustable beds! I’ve done a few custom bedspreads too and think there is a demand for those that retailers are missing. Can’t wait to see your finished look!
Bedspreads conjure up elegant bedroom dreams! The length alone denotes glamour and designer fabric can add much needed pattern. What a great way to go, Linda.
Lovely options! All those scalloped edges have me salivating…I am LOVING that trend! And I sleep under a down comforter nearly year round…I am rarely too hot except maybe 5 or 6 days out of the year!
Love the custom bedding. There used to be bedspread with split corners on the retail market but no more. I am going to check out the retail options here though, they are gorgeous.
There are few things more luxurious than beautiful bedding! You have certainly presented some beautiful options, I love the layering, beautifully done!
