Hello! This week’s installment of The Saturday List has a little movie magic, tea time and some great advice for anyone embarking on a re-design or renovating project. What’s up for your holiday weekend – it’s July 4th in the States and Canada Day for our neighbors to the north. I’m laying low. I live so close to Cape Cod that the traffic is just beastly on these long weekends!
Architectural Digest feature’s the decorator’s director, Nancy Meyers’s (Something’s Gotta Give, The Holiday, The Parent Trap, Father of the Bride 1 and 2, It’s Complicated) personal home. And it’s just what we’d expect it to be, designed by Mark Sikes. Click on over and check out the pool house especially.
Swarovski is launching “the Signum Collection on July 25th. Crafted in partnership with world-renowned porcelain artisan Rosenthal, the collection is a fusion of porcelain and crystal, imagined in a range of moreish candy colors – green, pink, yellow, and blue – that deliver pure joy and celebrate the art of setting the table.” The colors – green, blue, pink and yellow – are saturate and gorgeous and the forms as just as great.
Design colleague Tiffany Cassidy of Lagnappe Custom Interiors put together a really great post on the importance of having a design plan. Whether you’re embarking on your first project, or fifty-first, there’s so much great information here.

Wising you all a Happy July 4th and Canada Day! Is it just me, or is the summer rushing by? I played hooky and went to the beach for the first time yesterday. I have a really sweet little beach in my neighborhood so my oldest friend and I spent some quality time together enjoying sun and sand. This is how this pale girl faces the sun!
