I’m thrilled to share the reveal of my Colorful Modern Coastal home project in The Pinehills in Plymouth, MA!

My clients are active retirees new the area and wanted a fresh and clean style that is modern and colorful with a touch of glam. I think we achieved the objective!
I met with them within a few days of moving into the home. They already had a few key pieces (because one does need a place to sit and sleep!) but were looking to pull it all together.
With the use of product collages and renderings, I was able to communicate my vision for the space so that my clients could see how their home would look quickly and efficiently (well, as quickly as furnishings and custom goods can be produced these days!).

I’m just in love with this reeded sideboard which fit perfectly into the narrow space yet has big style and function. There is an inset marble top – great for entertaining!
The front hall features a welcoming vignette of natural and textural elements that serves connect the outdoors with what’s to come in the main part of the house.
The dining area is nestled next to the kitchen island and the slider out to the three-season porch.
Again – the inside and outside transition seamlessly.
The dining table has an amazing textural surface pattern.
The primary bedroom was pretty much a blank slate.
A slightly different palette for the primary bedroom which features a custom made headboard, bedding and black out window treatments.

The nightstands also feature a popular reeded feature.
A final closeup on how all the fabrics and materials work well together.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tour of my Colorful Modern Coastal home project as much as I have had working on it!
Cheers!

Lovely. I could move right in!
I especially like the entry mirror. Any chance of sourcing it for me?
Thanks so much Rebecca! That mirror is beautiful – my client already owned it so am afraid I don’t know the source!
Your use of pattern in the space is impeccable Linda. I’ll take the “tattered” looking ottoman and the accent chair please 🙂 Such a beautiful home!
Thanks Mary Beth! I am very happy with how that ottoman came out!
This came out so beautifully, Linda! Totally fresh and chic and I, of course, adore this color palette. That reeded sideboard piece is spectacular!
