SOLD! Newburyport, Massachusetts, known as the “Clipper City” is an historic colonial-era city located on the northeast coastline. The first of many Clipper Ships were built here as was the first United States Coast Guard Station.
The Newburyport rug runner features a wide array of colors, notably blues and sandy beiges, but also yellow, gray and pink for dimension, evoking the sea, sun and land.
This is a vintage rug, handwoven in Sweden in the tuskaft method, dating to the 1960s/70s. This rug is 100% cotton, is reversible and washable.
Dimensions are: 9’3” x 2’2”. TAKE NOTE: Due to their unique hand-woven process, these rugs are not-standard sized. Please take careful note of the dimensions before ordering. Thank you!
